Anne Jolly 1

Bridges

A work conceived by Anne Jolly. We wanted to demonstrate the link between the church and the city with the bridge spanning the river. All members were asked to draw around their hands, and Jean Cotter and Pauline Milroy laid the shapes out: red depicting the city, blue the river, yellow the bridge, and in the middle left by the bridge, two hands forming the steeple of St Andrew's with their forefingers.

Light

This large hanging explores the relationship between light and shadow, memory and experience, and the emotional transition in accepting God into our lives.
